Hello, for those who don't know me my name is Nate Smith but pretty much everyone calls me Igor. I run a website called Driven By Boredom and I am here to bring you naked women.
I am, by trade, a party photographer. It was not really something I was trying to do, I just sort of fell into it. I really wanted to be a photojournalist but I never quite got around to it. At least with party photography I can tell a story and that's really all I have ever wanted to do.
I have spent the last few years documenting my life with a Yashica T4 point and shoot 35mm camera that I keep in a really sad looking pouch on my belt. As a man who knows his way around a camera it's nice to just point and shoot and not think too much about the technical aspects. To get an interesting shot I think less about the light and the set up and more about just living a crazy fucking life.
So in these last two or three years I have lived this crazy life and I have taken about 300 rolls of film that tell the story as best as possible. I have developed and scanned and meticulously organized these rolls but for the most part they have just existed on my computer waiting for the day they will be released into the world. That day is now.
I have been very excited about this guest blogging spot on FLNGS because not only do I love the site but I think it is an opportunity to show people that I am at least something more than a fucking party photographer. These images are a little bit more fine art oriented and are very different from the normal digital stuff I post every day. If nothing else they are much more personal and meaningful to me.
I am only going to be posting 35mm work on this site (Possibly some Polaroid too...). And as I said before almost all of it is completely unpublished. Most of it will be naked girl stuff because that is what you came here to see, but I plan on mixing in some other shots from my life as well. I hope to be posting once every day during my two weeks with each post organized by girl or by theme.
There are so many photographers I love and look up to who have work on FLNGS and I really want to live up to the high standards set by them. I think it is pretty perfect that my work follows Collin Rae's work since I have an intense foot phobia. His work is so inspiring yet so completely revolting to me. I only hope that my work can both revolt and inspire people as well. I would love any feedback you guys could give me so I can figure out what to do with all of this stuff in the future.
